Children's Ministry
Teaching children the Bible is a serious job as children readily take what their leaders say as gospel truth. Faithfully and carefully teaching God’s Word to children in a way that engages their hearts will lay a firm theological foundation, one that will last and inform their Christian beliefs as they grow into adulthood.

At St Stephen's church we are committed to providing an emotionally and physically safe environment in which children can learn about God and in which they can begin to experience true Christian community.
Children's Ministry
1 Timothy 4:12 … Don’t let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.
Friday Night Youth
Our Youth (12 to 20 years old) meet every second Friday at the church between 6pm and 8pm for fun, snacks and to learn more about our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
You don't have to be a member of St Stephens to join us - all are welcome !

Bible Studies
We hold to the authority of the Holy Scripture as the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God, containing all things necessary for faith and practice.
Bible Studies are held in the church hall on Wednesday evenings at 19h00 and on Thursday mornings at 10h00.

Biblical Counselling
In the words of Edward Welch, biblical counselling is a hybrid of discipleship and biblical friendship. Scripture speaks with great breadth, to all the common problems we all encounter, from loneliness to schizophrenia. God speaks with great depth, getting to the very heart of problems and that all life is lived before the face of God. All disciples of Jesus are therefor counsellors. At St Stephen's, we offer formal biblical counselling free of charge based on an application process, and also seek to equip Christians to love one another and the world a God instructs His children.
